MOORESTOWN, N.J. \u2013<\/strong> OPEX Corporation recently won its patent dispute over Invata, LLC of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (\u201cInvata\u201d) and HC Robotics of Hangzhou City, China (\u201cHC Robotics\u201d). The International Trade Commission held that Invata and HC Robotics infringed two of OPEX\u2019s patents related to OPEX\u2019s award-winning Sure Sort\u00ae and Perfect Pick\u00ae systems and their associated iBOT\u00ae vehicles.<\/p>

After a full trial, the International Trade Commission concluded that Invata and HC Robotics\u2019 second generation Omnisort system infringes OPEX\u2019s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,622,194 and 10,576,505. The ruling also upheld the validity of OPEX\u2019s patents. Based on these findings, the International Trade Commission issued orders prohibiting Invata and HC Robotics from importing, selling, or offering support for their second generation Omnisort system in the United States. The ITC ruling adds to a previous Consent Order, in which Invata and HC Robotics agreed to no longer import or sell their first generation Omnisort systems in the United States.<\/p>
